The Pulaski Scholarship Fund has been established by The Pulaski Scholarship Ball Committee of Northeastern Pennsylvania, and administered solely by this Committee, in an effort to give recognition and financial assistance to young people of Polish descent, attending a four-year college, at one of the local colleges/universities in the Scranton/Wilkes Barre/Hazleton areas and is a resident of Pennsylvania. It is our hope that students of Polish descent become more familiar with their heritage, rich culture and history. A Scholarship Ball will be held on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 13, 2012 at the Gus Genetti Hotel & Conference Center, Wilkes Barre, PA, at which time the Scholarship will be awarded. A Selection Committee composed of individuals from our business & professional community will be responsible for the selection of the Recipient of the Award. The members are selected randomly on an annual basis by the Pulaski Scholarship Fund Committee and constitute a cross-section of the community. The parent or relative of an applicant should not be involved in the selection process. The Chairperson will be the permanent selection chairperson, but is not a voting member. Pierogi for Lent Ladies for ANS will make pierogi on the 17^th and 18^th of February 2012. For orders call Mrs. Regina Bahaley at 457-2378. Help is needed for both days (Friday – preparations) and (Saturday – pierogi making). Ash Wednesday is on the 22^nd of February.

Lenten Fish Fry Dinner sponsored by our parish YMS of R will be held on the 24^th of February 2012 (First Friday in Lent, following Ash Wednesday). From 4 -7:30 p.m. Dinner includes: Fish, fries, vegetable, coleslaw, and dinner roll. Donation is $8.00.

Lenten Potato Pancake & Clam Chowder Dinner will be held on Friday, 23^rd of March- serving 2:00 pm to 7:00 p.m. Takeouts available from 1:00 p.m. Donation is $7.00 (includes pancakes, soup, dessert and beverage). Prizes are needed for this event - please call Lottie Detweiler who is the chairperson of the Chinese Auction at 654-4133. We also need donations of cakes and other baked goods.

Easter Breakfast sponsored by our parish PTO will be held on the 1^st of April 2012 following each Mass on Sunday. Come and enjoy delicious food (eggs, ham, hash browns, pancakes and pastries). Adults: $7.00. Pay at the door.

Spaghetti Dinner to raise money for our youth to attend National Youth Convocation 2012 will be held on the 21^st of April 2012, Saturday, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Dinner includes: meatballs, salad, bread, dessert and beverage. Adults: $7.00 for and $4.00 for children up to 12.

Ash Wednesday, 22^nd of February: Masses with distribution of ashes will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.
